How to find, search and organize your saved Pins on Pinterest
Last updated November 3, 2026
Every Pin you save lives on your profile, filed in boards. Click your profile picture at the top right on the web, or tap it at the bottom right in the app. Boards and sections are your folders. To search only what you saved, type in the search bar, then switch the results to your own Pins.
Sort everything you've liked and saved, in one place.
Free holds 25 saves. No card needed. Pro starts with 3 days free.
Where are your saved Pins?
On your profile. Click your profile picture at the top right of pinterest.com, or tap it at the bottom right of the app, and your boards are listed there.
Open a board on its All saves tab to see the Pins you added. The More ideas and Shop tabs show suggestions, not your saves, and only you see them. (Pinterest Help, Pinterest Help)
How to search your saved Pins
Click the search bar, type what you're after, then switch the results to your own Pins. Pinterest doesn't say which words this search matches, so try words from the Pin's title or description.
Pinterest's help covers searching your saved Pins but doesn't name the switch. A 2026 community post describes results split into All Pins and Your Pins, and older steps call it Search your Pins, so look for either. To find a board by name, use the search bar in your Boards tab. (Pinterest Help, Stashr)
How to organize Pins with boards and sections
Boards are folders on your profile, and sections split a board into smaller groups. Organize, at the top of a board, moves many Pins at once.
- Open your profile and click a board.
- Click the plus icon, choose Section, name it and click Add.
- Click Organize at the top of the board and select the Pins to move.
- Click Move, then Save next to the section you want.
To move one Pin, click its edit icon and pick another board or section. Boards can be public, private to you and the people you invite, or group boards where everyone invited can add Pins. (Pinterest Help, Pinterest Help, Pinterest Help)
Why saved Pins go missing
Most often the board is archived, you're signed in to a second account, or the board opened on More ideas instead of All saves. Deleted Pins are gone for good, and deleted boards come back only within seven days.
- Archived boards sit at the end of your boards, or under Archived boards in the app.
- Signing in with Google or Apple can create a second account by accident. Check which one you're in.
- On a business account you may be looking at the Created tab. Click your profile photo, then Saved.
- Pinterest removes Pins that break its community guidelines and emails you about it. (Pinterest Help)
How to back up your Pinterest Pins
Request your data under Settings, then Privacy and data, then Request your data. Pinterest emails you a download link, which can take up to 48 hours.
- On pinterest.com, click the more options icon at the bottom left and choose Settings.
- Choose Privacy and data.
- Under Request your data, click Start request.
Pinterest's help doesn't list what the file holds. And a Pin's link leads to someone else's website, which can change or vanish whatever you back up. (Pinterest Help, Stashr)
Search your saved Pins with Neatsaves
The Neatsaves Chrome extension brings in every Pin you've saved, reads its title, description and picture, notes the board it's on, and files it into a category you can search by meaning.
- The extension's Sync tab reads your saved Pins in Chrome while you're signed in to Pinterest. It asks for them page by page, the way pinterest.com loads them, so nothing has to scroll.
- Each save keeps the Pin's link, the website it points to and the board you saved it on.
- Boards are folders you fill yourself. Neatsaves puts each Pin into a category on its own, so a recipe Pin and a recipe TikTok land in the same place.
- After the first full sync, the extension catches up new Pins once a day, when Chrome is open and you've stepped away from the computer.
Free holds 25 saves. Pro is $8 a month or $72 a year and holds up to 25,000. Search by meaning and export work on both plans.
Questions
- Can I search only my own Pins?
- Yes. Type in the search bar, then switch the results to your Pins. Depending on your version, it's labeled Your Pins or Search your Pins.
- Is there a limit to how many Pins I can save?
- Pinterest says there's no limit to how many Pins you can create. It does cap how many boards an account holds, and archiving a board doesn't free one up. You have to delete it.
- Can I recover a deleted Pin?
- No. Pinterest says deleted Pins can't be recovered. A deleted board can be restored within seven days.
- Can other people see my saved Pins?
- Pins on public boards show on your profile and in search. Pins on private boards are visible only to you and the people you invite.
- Does Neatsaves change my boards?
- No. It reads your saved Pins and copies them into its own library. Your boards on Pinterest stay as they are.
