How to find and search your YouTube liked videos

On a computer, sign in to YouTube and pick Liked videos in the menu on the left. On a phone, tap your profile picture, then Playlists, then Liked videos. The playlist shows up to 5,000 videos and has no search box. To search likes by topic or by what was said, copy them into a tool that reads transcripts.

Where are liked videos on YouTube?

Every video you like goes into a private playlist called Liked videos. On a computer it's in the left menu. On a phone it's under your profile, in Playlists.

YouTube shows at most 5,000 videos in Liked videos. If you've liked more than that, the rest don't appear in the playlist.

How to search your liked videos

YouTube has no search box inside Liked videos. On a computer, scroll the playlist so it loads, then use your browser's Find (Ctrl+F, or Cmd+F on a Mac) to match words in titles and channel names.

Open Liked videos on a computer.
Scroll down until you're past the time you think you liked the video. YouTube loads more as you go.
Press Ctrl+F, or Cmd+F on a Mac, and type a word from the title or the channel name.

This only matches what's printed on the page. It can't find a video by something said in it, and the YouTube app has no Find at all.

How to remove videos from Liked videos

Open Liked videos, click More beside the video and choose Remove from Liked videos. On a phone, tap More next to the video in the playlist.

Unliking a video takes it off the list too: tap the thumbs up, or the heart on a Short, a second time. (YouTube Help)
